I have a passion for building bold, original worlds and telling stories that hit you right in the heart. Under my banner, Avoc Comics, I’ve created series like AWOL ,Scrub,and Tit For Tat—each one a mix of dynamic visuals, imaginative characters, and narratives that keep you turning the page.

My work isn’t just about what happens inside the panels. I also explore the art form and its culture on my YouTube channel, Cova’s Lookout, where I dive into the craft of storytelling, highlight fellow creators, and pull back the curtain on life in comics.

Like many, the pandemic hit me hard—but it also reminded me why I create. I launched my creator-owned project AWOL through Kickstarter, pouring everything I had into making something truly my own. That journey taught me resilience, the importance of community, and the magic that happens when you believe in your vision.
